McGraw-Hill Broadcasting Names Steven P. McEvoy General Manager of KERO-TV23, Bakersfield, CA

BAKERSFIELD, Calif., July 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- McGraw-Hill
Broadcasting, a unit of The McGraw-Hill Companies, today announced the
appointment of Steven P. McEvoy as General Manager of KERO-TV23, the
ABC-affiliate station in Bakersfield, and its Spanish-language affiliate,
Azteca42. In this position, Mr. McEvoy will be responsible for setting the
strategic direction of the station, as well as for day-to-day operations of
the editorial and business activities of KERO, the Azteca America affiliate,
and the station's digital properties.

"As a 25-year veteran at KERO, Steve brings longstanding ties to the local
community as well as deep knowledge of the broadcasting industry," said Edward
Quinn, president of McGraw-Hill Broadcasting.

Mr. McEvoy had served as General Sales Manager of KERO since January 2000,
where he was responsible for all sales for the station, the Azteca channel and
the digital properties. He also successfully integrated KZKC, Azteca America,
in 2006, and has extended the station's reach with innovative marketing
strategies for the websites Turnto23.com and ShopKern.com. Mr. McEvoy joined
KERO in 1983 as Creative Director, Sales, and has held positions as a local
Account Executive and Local Sales Manager, Broadcast and Cable.
